Dr. Guo-Liang Jiang obtained PhD degree in Plant Breeding & Genetics at Nanjing Agricultural University, China. Dr. Jiang is currently an associate professor, leading soybean breeding and genetics program at Virginia State University.
Dr. Jiang’s research interest includes cultivar development, germplasm enhancement, breeding principles and methodologies, QTL mapping, molecular marker applications, genome-wide association study (GWAS), genetic analysis and characterization of traits of importance (with emphasis on quality, yield and resistance/tolerance), gene exploiting/discovery and trait integration.
Dr. Jiang serves as an editorial board member or a guest editor of several referred journals.
